In 2020, hate crimes against Asians increased by almost 150% in 16 major US cities. 

3,795 incidents have been reported since March of 2020.

And on March 16, a gunman targeted three Atlanta spas operated by Asian-Americans killing eight people. Six were Asian women. 

These are the numbers.

But Asian-American Pacific Islanders are not a statistic.
